Duarte and Burrtec Waste Industries will hold their bi-annual Duarte Community Clean-up, Shred & Compost event at the Civic Center parking lot (1600 Huntington Drive). Burrtec will be collecting bulky items, residential construction/demolition waste, electronic waste, and old documents for shredding.

For compost materials, residents should bring the proper vehicle or storage container to accommodate the load. Burrtec will provide shovels. The City will also be distributing used oil containers for residents that would like to recycle their old motor oil safety. Household hazardous waste will not be accepted. Must be a Duarte resident (no business waste allowed); IDs will be checked.
