Duarte will celebrate Red Ribbon Week from October 23 to 31, joining the nationwide antidrug campaign. All Duarte residents are welcome to participate in our Red Ribbon Week Decorating Day - along the historic Route 66 (Huntington Drive), on Saturday, October 21, which will start at 9 AM at the Duarte Teen Center (1400 Buena Vista Street). This event starts a day of fun activities and encourages all residents to participate in drug awareness activities and commit to healthy living. Duarte schools will also hold essay and art contests during the week.
